Since joining this SAL, where posts are made on the date of the new moon, by the time I have remembered to check the date I find I’ve already missed it! I was going to show a pic of my container at the end of 2009 then start afresh in 2010 but didn’t get around to taking the pic. As the first new moon in 2010 is today, 15 January, here is how my container looks. As you can see it’s almost full and I didn’t start this until 24 May 09.

I think my CDT frogging added quite a lot 🙂 plus I have loads of threads from my HAED stitching. I am now going to empty my container and see how much I can collect in a full year – although I have absolutely no idea what I am going to do with the threads I’ve collected. Apart from put out for the birds for nesting material – ideas anyone? What do you do with your ORT?

I’ve seen somewhere little plastic round ornament style containers which you can stuff with orts, very colourful, but I’ve just put mine in a plastic bag until I find something to do with them
