Now that I’ve got everything set up I can now show you a few more of the things I bought on my visit to Polstitches with Sandra and other additions to my slowly growing stash. Lots of pics here so just keep scrolling.
First are the fabric grab bags and some scissors and threads
Next are a few small charts which took my fancy for quick stitches at some time in the future although at the moment I have hardly picked up a needle with the projects I’ve already started. You know I can’t resist cats but I did pick up a “doggy” one for a change.
This one is Sebastian Rose by Marilyn Robertson
Next – Santa Paws from The Margaret Shelly Collection
… and a chart called Dog Lovers by Lizzie Kate
As you know I recently bought a book called Chats au point de croix and have had an idea about stitching these designs but I will blog on this once I’ve started as I haven’t quite fully decided on what I am doing.
When I visited Sandra earlier this month these are some of the fabrics she gave me for the project, lots of different colours and types of fabric which will be great for me to try out. I kept them all in their bags as I know I would have only mixed them all up if I’d taken them out!
And finally some more stash from Sandra – aren’t I the lucky one having a sister with a massive stash 🙂 She sorted out some particular type of colours that I wanted and the postie delivered these the other day
These are all threads I’ve never used before including some lovely silks which I’m looking forward to trying so thanks again Sandra.
It’s a bit cooler here today and I have to go into work for a few hours later at the local Vet so I think I will just sit outside for a while and read. I picked up Twighlight by Stephenie Meyers on Wednesday and have almost finished it I just can’t it down. I’ve got the next three books in the sequel on order so I hope these come soon so I can read them in a continuous flow.
Hope you have a good weekend and the rain stays away. Bye for now 🙂
